And then one day she talked to her Chinese teacher and got to know the secret...that the origin of those juicy wonders was the very city she was living in!!! And teacher told it was even possible for mere mortals to go and pick them!
...so after receiving the coded Chinese character (to show to taxi driver ;) and learning the magical phrase "I want to pick strawberries" in Chinese no time was wasted... Latvian girl headed for the mystical strawberry fields (20 min away from city centre)..
..and with the help of a "Godmother-Fairy" harvested 2 kilos of strawberries...
